I originally saw this picture on -Greeny001's profile and loved the idea of it.
This drawing is dedicated to all the families who lost loved ones in the 9/11 terrorist attacks which took place on my 7th birthday. Now that i am 15 years old, still young, but i can intake a better understanding of the loss thousands of people had to deal with on this mournful day.

I started this the night before last and finished it in maybe 6 hours, i used mostly 3B graphite on 14x17 paper

Thank you very much! :) it was a sad day, i remember the confusion that came over me when i walked downstairs all happy that it was my B-day when i saw my mom teared up watching the news that morning, i even remember exactly what i was wearing

That is amazing! 15 only? There is a whole world of opportunities waiting for you...

I thought it would make more sense to have a waterscape in the eye, don't you think?

i tried, haha it appearantly didnt work too well, i made it darkker at the bottom, im not sure if you can really tell though, and i would be happy to check out your gallery! :D
