I've really kinda been wanting to do put this idea onto paper recently. My skills are pretty rusty because I havent drawn in quite a while it seems, anyways tell me what you think :)

Awesome! The 'grainy-ness' adds to it's character in some bizarre way. Remember your an artist you have a license that allows you to do what ever you want on paper! and if anyone asks you meant for it to be grainy. I love your eyes even in this shattered plate there's still a feeling I get when lookin' into them.
